As a dog trainer, I would not remnmceod the use of choke chain on a small and frightened shiba like yours. And by the way, if you tend to hold the lash on its left like in the first photos, the choke chain is incorrectly wore. |

Hi Bernadette,Thanks for the comments. I suegsgt reading the article I wrote on plantar fasciitis (below) and following the exercises as a starting point. Hiring a really good fascial therapist who has a successful history treating PF would be a good idea too. I have had great success in treating PF. In most cases, moving out of the acute pain stage within 3-4 sessions. Once you are out of the pain stage, it is time to focus on flexibility and corrective exercises to strengthen the arches, knees and hips. You will find a few in this article. Now, my guess is that you have been wearing shoes with a significant heel lift for many years. (I consider the heel lift of most running shoes to be significant). The heel lift in shoes places your achilles tendon in a shortened position. It does not get stretched out fully when you walk. This is compounded by heel strike. Over time the achilles and lower leg muscles in your calf become somewhat permanently shortened. This is the primary issue that causes PF and just about every other foot pain issue. The shortened state places strain through the plantar fascia and other structures which eventually become inflamed (for lack of a better term). This is also the reason going barefoot is so painful. When you are barefoot, you are forcing the full natural range of motion of your now shortened ankle which places excess stress on the achilles tendon. Plus the muscles of the lower leg and arches are not strengthened to handle this new ROM. So they get fatigued quickly. The key will be to work through the active pain of PF. Then begin a rehab process that focuses on increasing flexibility and strengthening the ankle and calves. When it comes to walking around barefoot: I would keep the amount of time down. Spend 5-10 minutes a day at first and over the course of weeks slowly add more time. It MUST be PAIN FREE. Start buying shoes with less of a heel wedge. Don't make a drastic move from the higher heels you are currently wearing to a zero drop over night. But eventually you will want a zero drop shoe, if your foot can handle it. This is a process that will take at least a year and possibly two years to fully adapt into. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions. Also, something you didn't mention in the above post. Do you wear orthotics?Jesse James Retherford |

Thank you for this article. I am rcsearehing possible solutions for a web application I am about to undertake and I wanted to know if wordpress could handle a web application. I have done very robust sites using wordpress without modifying the core of wordpress too much but rather, tweaking my templates and extending wordpress functionality. I find that for my clients and even the wider community sometimes look down on wordpress primarily because of the way it has been perceived over the years and in some ways because it is so flexible that users at almost any level can get a theme installed and running it is overlooked that a more experienced user can create powerful experiences within the wordpress framework. It often does take some convincing with my clients but I usually get them to see the light. After reading your article I feel more confident about using wordpress for the framework to my next project and I think I will document the process, issues, resolutions etc. and share them along with the final results in an effort to evangelize WordPress' awesomeness. Thanks again and keep up the great work. |

This is getting a bit more suviectjbe, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of neighbors will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune Social is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose. |

What an awesome reivew John and I couldn't agree with you more.I was first introduced to MLSP a few years ago when they had the $1 signup to take a test drive. I was so busy during that time that I didn't take advantage of it so I just let it go. I guess in my mind I thought everyone else was promoting this and I didn't want to be yet another voice.Fast forward to today and it was one of the dumbest mistakes I've ever made. We all need training and in order to get to where you want to be you need to learn from the people who are already there. That's everyone who teaches us training in MLSP. They provide top notch training in all the different marketing methods so all you have to do is to chose which one you want to conquer. You have all the tools right in your back off and the community of support. You can't go wrong with using this system. The other good thing about it is that you only need a few people to join the system through your link and it's paid for. It's like you're getting all this training and tools for free. You seriously cannot beat that at all.If you lack the training and support needed to grow your business, give MLSP a test drive and just be the judge yourself. Don't be like me and kick yourself later on down the road. Let's get you moving in the right direction today.Adrienne recently posted.. |
